It was one of those evenings you don’t know what to expect and it turns out to be a cracker of a night!
Attending the “Me, Myself & Oasis Wrap Party” in Oasis Store, St. Stephen’s Green, we celebrated Aine O’ Neill being crowned Ireland’s Next Social Superstar & Top Vlogger. Xpose and Oasis’ competition challenged 9 contestants to complete various vlogging tasks each week and it was Áine’s creativity and attention to detail that impressed the judges. Mingling with the vlogger contestants, we learned tricks and tips from each other for all things social media while sipping our champagne and nibbling our caramel popcorn to the DJ’s funky tunes.
Xpose’s Aisling O’Loughlin asked me to do an interview, so keep an eye out in today’s episode in case I’m featured in their coverage of the event. The beautiful Ashley James came over from London and added such a sparkle to the night. Not only is she a presenter, blogger and a former Made In Chelsea star, she is also an Ambassador for UK Breast Cancer Charity “Coppafeel” and lives in London so we had lots to chat about.
There was a strange contraption in a corner of the store and veering closer to it with our catlike curiosity, we learned it was a Gif camera! After getting into the swing of how fast the camera snaps, we realised that you had to practice your gif group “choreography” first before pressing start. It turned out to be a “Gif Off”, and so I have picked out the best gifs from the night, with the funniest winner at the end.
Instead of a photoboot, I think a Gif camera is the new “hot” thing to have at your wedding!
What I wore
I wintered up my TK Max dress with black tights, platform boots, biker jacket and big dangly earrings. To make my boots look like new again and nice and shiny, I rubbed Vaseline into them. Move over shoe polish!
For a Christmas touch, try out some Festive House of Holland Nails in Boots for Eur 12.99.
